So, there are some pretty strong opinions amongst myself and my three teenage daughters as to which of these outfits is better.  They clearly believe that one is a no brainer and the other is just meh.  I can’t help but wonder if it is the outfit or a generational thing.

One is more of a silhouette shape and the other has a fun jacket and layers.  Which do you think the teenage girls preferred?  Vote in on instagram.

I do love the skirt and that it isn’t orangey or fluffy but that it still has some character with the classic buttons down the front.  It was kind of spendy for my tastes, but I knew I would keep it for a very long time in my STAPLE WARDROBE because it isn’t a trend … it’s classic.

And of course, combat boots make everything look a little more edgy.
