A lot of children in church grow up taking piano lessons, but what I have noticed is that after they finish their final level of lesson books that things stall. They don’t really know where to go from there. They don’t have anything they can play in church. There isn’t really any fun, creative independent playing that they can do.
This is when the child progresses from intermediate, to late intermediate, to early advanced.
I was so thankful when a fellow pianist shared with me some of her books because it opened up a world of untapped music I didn’t even know existed. So, in case you are in the same situation I was in, let me share with you what our favorite supplemental piano lesson books are.
