These are probably not the typical ladies you would think of in the Bible when you are going for inspiration and you probably wouldn’t name your children after them, but they are who impact me the most.

That is what this episode covers.  For a more in-depth look into the topic, head to the podcast or video links above.

KEY POINTS

  1. Tabitha – She inspires me because in the season of life she is in she could have chosen to be selfish.  She could have chosen to be needy.  But instead she chose to use her skills to serve others making coats and garments for others.  I desire that in the season where my children are grown that I don’t have the spirit of “I served my time.” and head into retirement mode.  I want to be a hard worker and servant with all that I have learned and grown in during these younger years of my life.
  2. The Holy Women also in 1 Peter 3:5 KJV
    1. These women trusted the Lord.  They were our example when it comes to how to follow an imperfect leader as presented in 1 Peter 2:18 KJV and 1 Peter 3:1 KJV.  They point us to the true hope.  The righteous judge.  The one who uses suffering for good.  The one who will help us to sing praise in the midst of turmoil.  The one who teaches us to please Him when our circumstances beat us down.  When you can’t trust man, trust God.

Thanks for being here and thanks for being my friends.
