Things I brag that I am really good at: 1 – Finding things no one else in my family can seem to find, 2 – Time management and 3 – Soups.  LOL.  It’s probably not okay to brag, but here I am anyway.

There are some soup recipes that other people make really well and I don’t make them.  It’s because I am very careful to use “clean” ingredients, lots of vegetables and then there is meat that we can afford to feed to seven people.  I try not to add dumplings, rice or noodles that just add unneeded calories.  On top of that, they have to be good enough for everyone to like them.  This is my roundup of soups I make every month that we all enjoy.

1). Our Favorite Chili (and a bonus skillet cornbread recipe)

2). The Creamy Soup Base (that I use for most of the soups.)

3). Creamy Chicken and Vegetable Soup

4). Broccoli and Cheese Soup

5). Tomato Bisque (that is always paired with grilled cheese on sourdough)

6). Mushroom Bisque (a personal favorite)

7). Bacon and Potato Soup

8). Clam Chowder

As I am making a book of our favorite family recipes for my own children, I thought it might be helpful to share them with other young women as well.

This is the complete “Soups” section of the book.  (Here is a pic for your divider tab page.)

Also, I have our entire 5 Week Meal Plan here.

FOR YOUR DIVIDER PAGE

(Each picture will take you to that specific recipe.  Save each recipe image.  I like to print them and keep them in a three ring binder with plastic sleeves and divider tabs.)

I have also created a KITCHEN BASICS GUIDE for young women.  If you are starting to build up your kitchen supplies, don’t waste your money on sets.  Just get the best of the basics.
