I was lying on my bed yesterday and my goodness I was tired.  It had been a full day and yet dinner was still needing prepped.  I thought to myself of all the things I needed to do between dinner and that very moment as I lay exhausted. One was this blog post.

I thought to myself, “What word inspires me?” I reviewed words of the past “Faithfulness, Encouragement, Soul Winning & Foundations” and I thought how befitting the word “Finish” would be.   And while there are days when “Finish” is the word that inspires me, right then and there it left me overwhelmed.

I thought of an image of the words “Songs, Hymns and Spiritual Songs” and that made me smile.  Immediately the word “Praise” came to mind and I knew that if I set my mind on my worthy Lord and praising Him that He would help me rise up and keep on.  And so, I did.  I chose to smile, to stand up, to take the next step and be diligent about my business.

It wasn’t duty to finish that kept me moving forward.  It was a song of praise in my heart and mind.
